"Cobalt Blue" features a few discreet & reconstructed samples from "Lollipop (Candyman)" by the band Aqua, a 1990s bubblegum pop band whose singles waged psychological warfare on young millennials. The lyrics of "Cobalt Blue" are an intended reversal of this;

We've wrote a book about seeming way too young
Everything I shouldn't see nor should we think
I need to get my mind where I've seen in dreams
Don't be the lover who would die to lust

The man in the artwork is C.S. Lewis, author of the Narnia series, The Space Trilogy, The Abolition of Man, as well as many other prophetic & healing, wholly positive books. Here he is bathed in violet light, the colour at the very "bottom" of the visible spectrum, having the longest wavelength. Sometimes in our lives we come to the realization that we have taken a wrong turn and must completely reverse course, return to the bottom and work our way back up in a purification cycle akin to death & rebirth
